Willow Tree is an intimate series of figurative sculptures that depict feelings such as love, closeness, healing, courage, hope... represent all the emotions we encounter in life. "As a mother, sister, daughter, and wife, I have learned that communication through touch can be very healing, not only for the recipient, but also for the giver. Quietly is meant to be a very calming piece, especially for a mother. A lot of people think that this piece depicts a mother with two cubs, but I see it as both. (Actually, my models were two little girls with short hair)" - Susan Lordi. The item is made of cast stone and hand-painted with lead-free paint.
