Willow Tree

Artist Susan Lordi carves the original of each Willow Tree-sculpture by hand. Inspired by family and friends, Susan Lordi tries to capture a moment in time or convey a feeling. The pieces are cast from her original carvings and then individually hand-painted. Softly washed colors, carved and metallic accents, and representative symbols of nature characterize Susan Lordi's work.

Her figures are constantly evolvingas she recognizes the emotions that are so important to us and expresses them in simple, pure gestures. These art forms wonderfully convey love, closeness, healing, courage, hope ... all the feelings of a well-lived life.
