Willow Tree Figure 'a tree, a prayer memory box-reminder box 5cm h' 2021

Willow Tree is a series of figurative sculptures that heal in a quiet way, trösten, protect and inspire. The artist Susan Lordi carves every original Willow Tree-Sculpture by hand. This piece is cast after its original carving and then painted by hand. The box shows a praying woman. The finely cracked wooden box with hinged lid is ideal for banknotes, keys, watches, small money and jewellery. A spell is hidden on the inside of the lid, which is a discovery.
