"I made this sculpture at the time of the Winter Olympics, inspired by the strength and endurance of young athletes in figure skating, snowboarding and skiing.Their confidence radiates with every gesture and movement, they literally shine with happiness and pride. We all have the ability to radiate from within, so I wanted to use this figure to remind us of our own inner strength. Shine could be a congratulation on a milestone achieved or a healing piece showing support and faith in someone. I wanted the shape to be visually uplifting... a small reminder of personal goals that have been achieved. I embellished the surface with gold to suggest inner light and energy. The pieces of the Signature Collection are connected by their architectural shape, characteristic colouring and textured surface. The figures are taller than others. Willow Tree Figures have a rather column-like shape and are characterized by a blue ombre effect, which is decorated with golden highlights. This figure comes with a gift tag with the inscription "You have a radiant inner light".
