This sculpture made of matt -black porcelain represents an artistically decorated rabbit, which is inspired by the famous patterns with motifs from nature, the Morris, one of the key figures in the renewal of the decorative arts, used in all of its works. The piece is made of matt-black porcelain and decorated with the plant motifs typical of Morris in green and metal tones. William Morris was a versatile British artist who was significantly involved in the renewal of the design and decorative arts. It was the driving force of the art-and-crafts movement of the late 19th century in Great Britain and was committed to the revival and further development of manual methods in contrast to the burgeoning forms of mass production.
