Inspired by the original models kept in the Lisbon Carriage Museum, this large Baroque-style salon is one of the most complex and ambitious works by the artists of the Lladró High Porcelain Workshop. It is an example of extraordinarily beautiful, delicate ornaments. With these magnificent carriages, the nobles of the European courts carried the splendor of their palaces onto the streets. In this limited edition, attention has been paid to everything, down to the smallest detail: the four horses, the uniforms of the servants, the couple's clothes and, above all, the decoration of the carriage. About fifty different colors were used for the decoration, and the artists invested about a hundred hours of meticulous work in the design. The completion of each piece requires the cooperation of more than twenty different specialists, who together spend about 300 hours on the task. The result is a single piece that looks like is over a metre long and weighs about twenty kilograms.
