Before first use

Please remove the practical transport bag from the inside of the coffee mug before using it for the first time. Then clean all parts thoroughly with warm water, a little washing-up liquid and a soft sponge. Then rinse with cold water and you can take your coffee to go out of the FLSK Enjoy coffee mugs.

Use

The lid of the FLSK coffee mug can be closed absolutely tightly, so that not a single drop of coffee is lost. To close the coffee mug, press on the inner edge of the fliplid, above the FLSK Drop. When you hear it click, your FLSK Coffee mug closed and you can stow it in your bag. The fact that you initially feel quite strong resistance when squeezing is a good sign that the fliplid is in the right place and closes your coffee mug securely. When you open it, the fliplid snaps into place at the top of the lid. So it doesn't close again when you tilt the coffee mug forward to drink and you can enjoy your coffee in a relaxed way. The optimised drinking opening in the lid also ensures the ideal flow rate, so that drinking coffee without spills is not an issue even when walking. Our tip for perfect coffee enjoyment: If you fill your coffee mug to the maximum filling line and your coffee has a crown of crema or milk foam, it's best to leave the fliplid open when you screw the lid shut. This allows the excess air to escape upwards and the foam is not pushed out to the sides.

Cleaning

Ideally, you should rinse the FLSK Coffee mug by hand after each use. The dishwasher cannot harm the great functions of the coffee mug, but the coating can be attacked by the long-lasting heat in the dishwasher. Warm water and a sponge are sufficient for daily care. For heavier soiling, we recommend our cleaning beads or denture cleaner tabs. Please do not use chemicals or other harsh cleaning utensils. These could attack the stainless steel surface or the beautiful coating, and the environment will also thank you. To dry, it is best to place the coffee mug with the opening facing downwards. Please clean the sealing ring regularly separately from the lid and let both dry well separately from each other to avoid mildew stains and discoloration. Then make sure that you put it back on the lid the right way round, otherwise it won't close properly. The thinner side of the gasket must face downwards towards the Bechers. It is also best to remove the silicone seal on the underside of the fliplid regularly and clean it individually. Please only put the lid on loosely (do not screw it up) when you stow the coffee mug in the cupboard, so it still gets enough air to dry.

Warnings

The FLSK Coffee mug keeps drinks hot for three hours. Even after several hours, the filled drink can still be very hot and boiling hot liquid poses a risk of scalding. Please make sure that children under the age of 12 only use the coffee mug when adults are with them. Please stow the spare and small parts in such a way that they are inaccessible to small children and cannot be accidentally swallowed. Surely you know that metallic objects are not allowed in the microwave, this also applies to the coffee mug. The FLSK Coffee mug is not carbonated. For carbonated drinks, it is best to use the FLSK Drinking bottle, which is ideal for this. Please leave your FLSK coffee mug in a water bath, this could lead to a discoloration of its beautiful coating.
