Willow Tree is an intimate series of figurative sculptures that depict feelings such as love, closeness, healing, courage, hope... represent all the emotions we encounter in life. "I carved this piece in such a way that you can look at it 'round'. Depending on how you spin the piece, you get a different understanding. If you look at it from the side, where you can see the arms of the man and woman, it looks like they are kissing. If you turn it over and look at it from the side, where you can see their faces and clasped hands, it looks like they're dancing - and it's a completely different work. I like this duality of interpretation." – Susan Lordi. The item is made of cast stone and hand-painted with lead-free paint. It comes in a branded gift box and a gift tag that says "Hold dear the promise of love." Not a toy or product for children. Intended for adults only.
