Before the pineapple cutter can take action, you cut off the upper stem and leaf crown with a knife, so that the cutting plate of the pineapple cutter is easy to put on. Due to the rotary movement, the pineapple peel cuts the pulp spirally. So you get beautiful even slices with just a few other cuts. Only the shell and the stalk in the middle remain.
